Terms of Service

Welcome to the Palia Community Hub. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hub and its features, including the coin economy, shop, casino, reward wheel, events, announcements, and embed management tools. By signing in with Discord and using the Hub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Hub.

1. Coins Have No Real-World Value

The coins used on the Hub are a virtual, in-game community currency with no monetary value. Coins cannot be exchanged for real money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or any other form of real-world value. Coins cannot be purchased with real money, sold, transferred between accounts (unless explicitly permitted by the admin), or withdrawn as cash. The coins exist solely as a community engagement and reward system.

This is important: Because coins have no real-world value and cannot be converted to real money, the casino games (coinflip, dice, slots) and the daily reward wheel on the Hub are not real-money gambling. They are community entertainment features using a valueless virtual currency. No purchase is required to participate, and no real-world prizes are awarded.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be a member of the Palia Community Discord server to use the Hub.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use Discord).
  • You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
  • The admin reserves the right to revoke Hub access for any member who violates these Terms or Discord's policies.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Exploit bugs, glitches, or errors in the Hub to gain coins or advantages.
  • Create multiple Discord accounts or Hub sessions to farm daily rewards, wheel spins, or welcome bonuses.
  • Transfer coins between accounts unless the admin explicitly permits it.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Hub economy (casino, wheel, shop) unless the feature is explicitly designed for it.
  • Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the Hub's database, backend, or bot integration.
  • Use the embed management or announcement features to post content that violates Discord's Community Guidelines.
  • Harass other members or use the leaderboard to target or shame players.

4. Coin Economy Rules

  • Daily reward wheel spins are limited to one per day per member. Spinning multiple times per day by manipulating your session is prohibited.
  • Casino games cost coins to play. All outcomes are determined by a random number generator and are final.
  • Shop purchases are final once completed. Role-type items grant a Discord role via the bot; the role remains until the admin modifies or removes it.
  • The admin reserves the right to adjust, reset, or modify any member's coin balance for fairness, to correct errors, or to address violations of these Terms.
  • The maximum coin balance per member is 1,000,000 (one million). Balances will not exceed this cap.

5. MEE6 Balance Migration

During the designated migration window (announced in Discord), members who wish to carry over their existing MEE6 coin balance must run the /coins command in Discord. The bot captures the response and transfers the balance to the Hub.

  • The migration window lasts 14 days from the announced start date.
  • After the migration window closes, members who did not run /coins will start with a fresh balance (plus any welcome bonus the admin sets).
  • Members who believe their migrated balance is incorrect may submit a dispute within 3 days after the migration window closes. After the dispute window closes, all balances are final and no further adjustments will be made.
  • The admin is not responsible for balances that were not migrated because the member did not run /coins during the window.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Hub is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The admin is not liable for lost coins due to bugs, downtime, data loss, server outages, or any technical failure.
  • The admin does not guarantee the Hub will be available at all times or that all features will function without error.
  • The admin reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature (including the casino, wheel, shop, or economy) at any time without notice.
  • The admin is not responsible for Discord-side issues (role not granted, messages not sent) caused by Discord API outages or bot permission changes.
  • You use the Hub at your own risk. Since coins have no real-world value, no monetary damages can arise from their loss.

7. Intellectual Property

The Hub's design, code, and branding are the property of the admin. “Palia” is a trademark of Singularity 6 / Daybreak Games and is used here only as a community reference. The Hub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Singularity 6 or Daybreak Games.

8. Discord Developer Policy

The Hub and its bot integration comply with the Discord Developer Policy. We do not sell Discord API data, use it for advertising or profiling, or share it with data brokers. We use Discord API data only to provide the Hub features described in these Terms.

9. Monetization (If Applicable)

The Hub is currently a free community service. If the admin ever offers paid plans (e.g., for other servers to use the Hub), those will be billed to server admins directly, not to individual Discord users. Charging Discord users within Discord requires Discord's Premium Apps program. Any future paid features will be governed by a separate agreement.

10. Dispute Resolution

For disputes about coin balances, the 3-day post-migration dispute window is the official process. For other disputes, contact the admin via Discord. If a dispute cannot be resolved with the admin, the admin's decision is final.

11. Changes to These Terms

The admin may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Hub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be announced in Discord.

12. Termination

The admin may terminate your access to the Hub at any time for violation of these Terms, Discord's policies, or for any other reason. Upon termination, your data may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
